Gary Blom was educated in Australia and his first role was a management trainee at Qantas and since then he has created and scaled a number of companies in Australia and the USA. In the early 70’s Gary Blom worked with NCR (National Cash Register) in the mainframe computer division, and that marked the starting of Gary’s entry into the business world.
In 1978, Gary Blom founded The Computer Company. This company was the sole distributor for Mitsubishi and Panasonic computers, becoming the first company globally selling the Panasonic range of microcomputers . By the early 80’s Gary Blom’s company was sold to the Singer Corporation. Making this Gary’s first taste of success in the business world.
Gary Blom’s roles and responsibilities at the various companies and businesses he has worked at have helped him to build impressive entrepreneurial qualities. In his over 30 years of professional working, and startups, Gary Blom has had to fulfill critical responsibilities like; ensuring that relationships with stakeholders are built and well maintained, and of course managing the risk that comes with starting and growing businesses.
Currently, Gary Blom is the Executive Chairman of National Property Group in New South Wales, Australia. The company seeks to ease the stress of making decisions about properties. Established in 2020, the company provides agents and other property professionals with valuable data that can influence property decisions. Gary Blom is known for being a great leader to his 30 staff. Constantly encouraging them, and ensuring a positive work culture. Gary Blom takes charge of all things concerning business and marketing. This includes - marketing, sale, strategy, networking, negotiation, management and importantly, getting to know the clients' needs and also giving professional advice concerning mergers.
